As CBS reports, MS&G represents Neiyerver Adrián Leon Rengel in a first-of-its-kind Federal Tort Claims Act case seeking accountability from the United States for his wrongful deportation and detention in El Salvador’s CECOT prison.

Joaquin Gonzalez of MARZIANI, STEVENS & GONZALEZ argued an appellate case on March 12, 2026 for Powered by People and former Congressman Beto O’Rourke. 

“Jolt is simply the latest target of his unlawful campaign to undermine and silence civil rights groups in Texas,” said Mimi Marziani, a lawyer representing the nonprofit.
